By Train

The nearest station to Bedford Autodrome is Bedford (20 minutes). Trains from London leave from either St Pancras or any Thameslink station approximately every 20 minutes. There is a taxi rank immediately outside Bedford Station.

Parking

There are plenty of parking spaces available at the site and there will be signs directing you. Please note that there is only one entrance and exit to the venue, so there might be a short queue while you exit the site.

Information

There will be an information point located in the Start / Finish area.

Baggage

Although we cannot guarantee the security of your bags, there will be a manned baggage area for you to leave your bags in. If you have travelled by car, it will be safer to leave your bags and valuables in your car boot.

Changing

There will be limited change facilities in marquees at this event. We suggest that you arrive at the venue in kit and ready to run.

Course

The course is flat and is run on the roads (all tar macadam). The course is a one-lap course and there will be mile markers at each mile point.

Timing & Results

The event will be chip timed to ensure an accurate result. We will endeavour to get the results up on the website as soon as soon as possible after the race.

First Aid

Medical support will be present on the course and at the finish. You should be relatively fit and have no known medical conditions.

Very Important - do not run with a cold or flu symptoms as this can be extremely dangerous.

Toilets

Located at the Start and Finish area.

Water

Water will be available once on the course and at the finish.

Please bring your own water to drink prior to the start.

Prizes

The first three men and first three women across the line will be awarded prizes on the day.

Hot Food & Drink

Will be available for purchase at the Start / Finish area.

- Your Number & Helmet

- A change of clothing for after the run

- Money for tea / coffee / food 

- To eat a healthy meal and to avoid alcohol the night before the event

- To eat something light and drink plenty of water prior to the event

Cancellations

We regret that once entry applications have been processed we cannot refund any entry fees to runners who do not eventually take part. In the event of the race being cancelled owing to forces outside the organisers' control, we also regret that no entry fees can be refunded after entries have been processed.
